Bring home the beauty of nature with our handmade live edge floating shelves. Our beautiful floating shelves are handcrafted from a Solid Walnut Live Edge slab and will add a natural elegance to any space.
Black Walnut is a rare tree that is only grown in a few areas, has a dark rich color with a lot of character and beauty. No two natural edge shelves will look exactly alike. Our shelves come in multiple sizes and includes Easy Mount hardware for a fast and simple installation.
Whether you want to add shelves to hold your kitchenware, above the couch for picture frames and plants or in the restrooms, these shelves will add a unique character to your space. This shelf is a perfect bookshelf, floating console table or mantel.

Process
Expertly handcrafted in the heart of the Ozarks, sustainably sourced, premium solid walnut. Nature dictates the design, with every piece revealing its individual character through rich color and engaging grain patterns. Lighter sections as shown in the photos are examples and are natural characteristics of Wood called "Sap", this can be lighter or darker depending on the wood. Each piece is unique and varies from piece to piece.
We don’t stain our pieces, but we do fill knotholes, voids, and cracks with clear epoxy. This technique ensures durability and a smooth finish but allows the wood’s organic beauty to shine.
Sizing
**The width will vary from slab to slab based on the contour of the live edge.
Each walnut live edge shelf is handcrafted from a unique slab. Choose from 12 Inch up to 72 inch in width and 8 inch up to 12 inch in depth to get the shelf size you need for your home.
Each shelf is 1.5-1.75 Inches thick.

Assembly
Each shelf comes with a floating bracket, exact holes are pre drilled with every shelf for easy assembly.
Tools needed: Drill or screwdriver, level, stud finder, measuring tape
- Choose your desired spot to hang shelf
- Locate studs
- Put screws in stud
- Attach floating mount to the wall and slide on the shelf using pre-drilled holes
Screws not included.
Weight Limit
Weight limits are based on a licensed contractor to installing them properly into the wood studs. Drywall will not hold the same weight.

Beautiful floating fireplace mantle
We absolutely love this walnut floating shelf and we use it as our fireplace mantle. We think it looks great!!!
Excellent Shelves
We ordered two 10"x60" shelves. Delivery time was a bit longer than the 2-4 weeks quoted but well worth the wait. The shelves are beautiful and substantial. I expected the "flat" part of the shelves to be much less than 10" deep due to the live edge. I was very surprised to receive two shelves that were 12-13" deep overall providing 10"+ of usable shelf depth. I'll call that over-delivering and quite a value-add. Note: The mounting brackets themselves have holes drilled every inch. This was helpful as the studs in my 1870s house are not 16" on center and I was still able to secure the brackets to 3 studs—a necessity for a shelf of this size and weight. Beautiful shelves, great experience
The shelves are every bit as beautiful as they look in the photos on the website. Installation was easy...I'm no carpenter, but I'm good enough with a screwdriver, drill and a level. I called them twice. Once before purchase and once after the shelves arrived (no installation instructions were included, they said this was an accidental oversight) both times I got a friendly person at their facility that clearly knew what they were talking about. On that second call, they talked me through the installation instructions in about 2 minutes. Not hard at all, and that installation bracket is very well designed. Honestly, I'm so happy with them I'm not even knocking off a star for forgetting the instructions...after 2 minutes on the phone with them it just wasn't a problem :-)
Absolutely beautiful piece to complete my office renovation! Definitely as advertised regarding the quality. It was also easy to install too. The best part to me is giving back to local craftsmen-- it's Made in the USA!!
