The Bench That Belongs at Your Table

Some furniture blends in. A bench built from solid walnut or white oak doesn't — it earns its place. The grain tells a story. The weight feels intentional. And ten years from now, it still looks like it was made for the room.

Our dining benches are handcrafted in Missouri from American hardwoods, built to order, and sized to fit the way you actually live — not the way a showroom floor is arranged.

Find a Fit for Your Kitchen

A 48" bench tucks neatly into a breakfast nook or anchors one side of a smaller table. Step up to 60" and you've got the sweet spot for most 6-person dining sets. Going long? Our 72" and 84" benches were made for harvest tables, farmhouse dining rooms, and the kind of meals that stretch into the evening. Need something in between? We build to custom dimensions — just ask.

Walnut or White Oak — Both Exceptional

Walnut brings depth: dark, warm, and full of character that only gets better with age. White oak is the quiet achiever — pale, tight-grained, and tough enough to handle daily life without losing its good looks. Both species are sourced domestically and milled to show off what makes solid wood worth choosing in the first place.

        Wood Finish Options

For a smooth, easy-care surface, clear satin polyurethane is a strong choice, especially on walnut. It gives the wood a protective topcoat with a soft sheen, helping the bench stand up to daily use, moisture, and frequent contact.

For a more natural, matte appearance, Rubio Monocoat offers a penetrating oil finish that bonds into the wood fibers. Available in natural, white, cotton white, light grey, dark grey, and matte black, it preserves the tactile feel of real wood while allowing smaller worn areas to be refreshed without stripping the entire piece.

        • Natural — A clean oil finish that enhances the oak’s original warmth, soft grain movement, and natural shifts in tone without making the surface look overly finished.
        • Clear SatinA lightly lustrous protective finish that gives the wood a more refined surface while keeping the white oak’s color, texture, and grain pattern easy to see.
        • WhiteA bright painted finish that creates a crisp, refreshed look for spaces with coastal, farmhouse, transitional, or modern styling.
        • Cotton WhiteA gentle warm-white finish with a softer feel than standard white, giving the piece a lighter look without appearing too sharp or stark.
        • Light GreyA calm grey finish that cools the overall tone of the oak while still allowing hints of the wood’s natural texture to come through.
        • Dark GreyA deeper grey option that adds weight and contrast, creating a more dramatic look while leaving some of the grain character visible.
        • Matte BlackA flat black finish with a clean, tailored appearance, ideal for creating strong contrast and a more modern furniture profile.

        Leg Style Options

        • U-ShapeA squared metal base with a bold, stable stance. Its clean lines give the bench a more substantial look and work well when you want the base to feel structured, modern, and visually grounded.
        • Hair Pin A slimmer, open metal leg style that keeps the bench feeling lighter in the room. The narrow profile adds a vintage-industrial touch without making the piece feel bulky.

        Leg Finish Options

        • Matte BlackA low-gloss black finish that gives the base a sharp, defined look and pairs easily with both pale and richly toned hardwoods.
        • Hammered Steel A textured metal finish with a slightly irregular surface, adding depth, movement, and a more rugged handcrafted quality to the legs.
        • Satin BronzeA warm bronze-toned finish that brings subtle richness to the base and works especially well with woods that have honey, amber, or earthy undertones.
        • Satin SteelA smooth silver-toned finish with a soft sheen, giving the legs a lighter, cleaner appearance that feels polished without competing with the wood.
