Just a natural gathering shape that’s been working for thousands of years, now built from genuine solid hardwood and finished to last a lifetime.

The Artisan Born Round Solid Wood Dining Table is crafted entirely from solid hardwood — Walnut or White Oak — with architectural solid wood legs that are as much a design feature as they are a structural one. This isn’t a table with a wood-look surface. It’s wood, all the way through.

The Wood

Two species, two completely different personalities. Both exceptional.

• Walnut — Deep, warm, and unmistakably rich. Walnut has a fine straight grain with occasional figuring that makes each top genuinely unique. It darkens slightly with age and develops a patina that only improves over time. If your space leans warm — leather, brass, linen — Walnut belongs in it.
• White Oak — Cooler and more neutral, with a subtle ray-fleck pattern that catches light in a way no other domestic species does. White Oak is exceptionally dense and moisture-resistant, making it one of the most durable choices for a dining surface that sees daily use.

Natural knotholes and surface voids are hand-filled during production — preserving the character of the wood while delivering a surface that’s smooth, sealed, and ready for real life.

The Legs

The solid wood legs are Architectural in profile and built from the same hardwood species as the top, they give the table a cohesive, furniture-quality look that metal bases simply can't replicate. Teht leg configuration is sized specifically for the 40" top to ensure stability without visual bulk.

Size & Seating

This table is 40" in diameter and 30" tall — the ideal size for 4 people with comfortable elbow room. It fits naturally in apartments, breakfast nooks, smaller dining rooms, and any space where you want the warmth of a real wood table without overwhelming the room. At standard dining height, it pairs with virtually any dining chair on the market.

Every table is made to order at our workshop and ships directly from Jane, Missouri. Because each piece is cut from real solid wood, grain pattern, color, and natural character will vary slightly — that variation is what makes it yours.
