What Makes Walnut Special

American black walnut is one of the most prized domestic hardwoods for a reason. It's dense and stable, which means it holds up to the daily push-and-pull of bar stool life without loosening at the joints or showing wear at the edges. The grain ranges from straight and clean to sweeping and figured, and the natural color deepens beautifully over years of use. Walnut doesn't need to be stained to look rich — it already is.
