The Contour White Oak Coffee Table is built from solid American white oak — a wood known for its tight, straight grain, subtle ray fleck, and a natural warmth that sits somewhere between honey and straw. At 1.5" to 1.75" thick, the top has real weight and presence without feeling heavy. It’s the kind of piece that looks like it belongs the moment you set it down.

White oak is a particularly good canvas for finish. It takes color evenly, holds it well, and the grain stays visible underneath — which is exactly why we offer it in both a clear satin coat and the full Rubio Monocoat color line.

Choose Your Finish

Clear Satin — Lets the natural white oak speak for itself. Water-resistant, heat-resistant, non-yellowing. The wood stays light and open-grained with a soft, low-sheen surface.

Rubio Monocoat

Rubio Monocoat is a plant-based, single-coat oil finish that bonds at the molecular level — no build-up, no peeling, and easy to spot-repair over time. It colors and protects in one step, and the grain always stays visible underneath.

• Natural — A near-invisible finish that deepens the grain slightly while keeping the wood looking raw and honest.
• White — A soft, barely-there white wash that brightens the surface without hiding the grain.
• Cotton White — A warmer, creamier white with a lived-in feel. Works beautifully in Scandinavian and coastal interiors.
• Light Grey — A cool, airy grey that keeps the room feeling open. Pairs well with linen, concrete, and matte black.
• Dark Grey — A deeper, more grounded grey with a modern edge. Strong contrast against light floors and walls.
• Onyx Black — A rich, full black that still lets the grain show through. Dramatic without being heavy.
