About Rubio Monocoat

Rubio Monocoat is a plant-based, zero-VOC penetrating oil that bonds directly to wood fibers in a single coat — no build-up, no plastic sheen. Unlike surface coatings that sit on top of the wood, Rubio Monocoat becomes part of the wood itself, resulting in a finish that feels completely natural to the touch while providing lasting protection against daily wear.

Each color is designed to enhance the wood’s natural character rather than mask it. Available in 7 finishes:

• Natural — A clear, warm tone that lets the white oak grain shine through
• White — A soft, light wash that brightens without fully whitewashing
• Cotton White — A slightly deeper white with a linen-like warmth
• Light Grey — A subtle cool tone that pairs well with modern and Scandinavian interiors
