The Table That Brings Everyone to the Same Level

The Rectangle Hightop Dining Table is designed for the way groups actually gather — side by side, end to end, with room to spread out and no one feeling like they're at the kids' table.  Available in three lengths, two woods, six Rubio Monocoat colors, and every detail is chosen by you. What arrives is a table built specifically for your space, not pulled from a warehouse shelf.

Three Lengths. One Depth. Right for Your Room.

The 48" length seats four to six and works well in tighter dining rooms, kitchen spaces, or anywhere you want a hightop presence without overwhelming the room. The 60" length opens things up — comfortable for six, with room for food, drinks, and elbows on the table. The 72" length is the full statement: seats six to eight, commands a room, and works best in open-plan spaces or dedicated dining areas where the table is meant to be the centerpiece. All three are 36" deep and available in counter height (36"H) or bar height (42"H).

Choose Your Wood

Black Walnut is the one that stops people mid-sentence. Deep, warm, and richly grained — it has a presence that photographs well and looks even better in person. It deepens with age in a way that makes the table feel more valuable over time, not less.

White Oak is its quieter counterpart: pale, open-grained, and adaptable across a wide range of interiors. It works in modern spaces, farmhouse kitchens, coastal homes, and Scandinavian-influenced rooms without trying too hard. Both are solid hardwood, milled and built in our shop. No veneers. No MDF. No filler.

Choose Your Finish

Both species are available with a Satin Clear Finish — clear, durable, and built for daily use. For a more distinctive look, choose one of six Rubio Monocoat colors. Rubio is a plant-based penetrating oil that bonds into the wood fiber rather than sitting on top of it — the result is a matte, tactile surface that feels like the wood itself:

• Natural — the wood's own color, slightly warmer and more alive
• White — a soft, translucent wash with the grain still fully visible
• Cotton White — warmer than White, with a relaxed, sun-washed quality
• Light Grey — cool and understated, pairs well with modern and Scandinavian interiors
• Dark Grey — rich and high-contrast, lets the grain do the talking
• Modern Black — bold and graphic, with the wood's texture still visible beneath

U-Shaped Legs bring a clean, architectural edge — grounded and substantial, with a modern or industrial character that suits loft spaces and contemporary dining rooms.

Every table leaves our shop built one at a time, by hand. The joinery is tight, the top is solid wood all the way through, and the proportions are worked out to look right from every angle. This is the kind of table that gets better with time — not replaced after a few years.
